Moris Farhi
(b.1935 in Ankara, Turkey) moved to the UK in 1954. He is the author of the novels The Pleasure of Your Death (1972); The Last of Days (1983); Journey Through the Wilderness (1989); Children of the Rainbow (1999); and Young Turk (2004). His works have been published in Arabic, Dutch, French, Italian, Galician, German, Greek, Hebrew, Romanian, Polish, and Turkish. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and Vice President of International PEN. He was appointed an MBE for "services to literature".
