András Forgách
(b.1952 in Budapest) studied history and philosophy at the Eotvos University, Budapest, worked in theatre between 1976-1984 and 1995-97, and since 1984 has been a freelance writer, playwright, translator, and author of three novels. Awards include: 1992 Kritikusok dija, 2000 Szep Ernö dij, 2006 Jozsef Attila-dij.
