Laurynas Katkus

born 1972, is a poet, essayist and translator. He studied Lithuanian literature and language at the University of Vilnius and comparative literature in Vilnius and Leipzig. He has published two volumes of poetry and work has been translated into English, German, Slovenian and Polish. He himself translates poetry, prose and essays from English and German. He lives in Vilnius with his wife and son.
