Among his numerous publications are The Politics of Subversion: A Manifesto for the 21st Century (Cambridge: Polity Press, 1989, originally published in French in 1986); The Labour of Dionysos: A Critique of a State-Form (1994); Empire (2000); and Multitude (2004), together with Michael Hardt.
