Mircea Vasilescu
is associate professor at the faculty of letters, University of Bucharest, editor-in-chief of Dilema veche (a cultural weekly magazine), and senior editor of Dilemateca (the unique monthly dedicated to books and reading in Romania). He has published several books on literature and communication, on mass media, and on culture. He has also translated works by Michel Foucault, François Furet, and Sergio Romano into Romanian.
