L'Espill Self-description

English
L'Espill is a quarterly journal in Catalan that seeks to include in its pages the more interesting aspects of contemporary intellectual debate, with the aim of promoting a lively and up-to-date way of thinking. We publish Catalan authors but also translations if they are interesting and appropriate. In addition to the analysis of general issues, the journal also includes studies and essays on specific problems of our culture. The main focus of L'Espill is the critical thinking linked to the social sciences with the aim to build an own vision, an original intellectual perspective in dialogue with contemporary culture.

L'Espill has appeared since 1999 and is published by the University of Valencia. The main area of distribution of the journal is the Catalan-speaking countries.
